The user interface is quite simple, and sleek. I mean, Microsoft did a fantastic job on this. Following that, you sign into your Microsoft Account, and you’re ready to use Cortana. In total, just hitting next, or “I Agree” gets you through quickly – but be cautious, the app does have (and need) a lot of permissions. It introduced itself, as Cortana, and proceeded to ask for permissions, terms of service, and other things. Setup was easy, since it just made you answer some questions. After I cleared up some room on my phone (I only had 126MB available), it installed quickly. To help make the process easier for you, I found this fantastic guide from cnet. Well, I just did some Google searches, and eventually found the beta tester sign up, which was previously maintained by Microsoft but is now administered by Google. So you can imagine that when they released a beta version on Android, I was extremely excited. When Microsoft created Cortana, I almost got a Windows Phone to try it out.
